26/27 Parental Choice Tax Credit Information

The online Parental Choice Taxpayer link opens at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026. Applicants will need to read the instructions included in the PDF links below to be best prepared for the online process. Please remember, a separate application is required for each child and, when asked during the process, you must provide the personal email that your child's electronic verification number was sent to.  Additionally, if families have received the tax credit previously, please indicate that, when asked, on the new application. Finally, make sure to apply as soon as possible when the application link opens up. There is a set amount of funding established for Oklahoma private schools, so it can essentially come down to a first come, first serve basis. The link below takes you to the OkTap website. Once there, you will look for the Parental Choice Tax Credit heading and select the link, "Parental Choice Tax Credit Taxpayer Application." The actual application link will not be available until the morning of March 16th.
